Join me for a six week, 12 hour class in which we further solidify and explore intermediate knowledge and techniques! My Intermediate Intensive I course is NOT a prerequisite for this course. Along with the fundamentals of producing healthy, good tone with playing technique that will serve you well, we'll learn Intermediate tunes from a variety of sources and styles that are a fun vehicle for learning technique. We'll look at arranging techniques, discuss performance anxiety (whether it be during lessons, performing for your neighbor who dropped by, or public performances!) building control for dynamics, and much more!

The class fee gets you 12 hours of class time with Tina, written materials with tunes and exercises, weekly summaries with any mentioned links, audio files, and A DOWNLOAD LINK EACH WEEK SO YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE CLASS AND USE IT AS MANY TIMES AS YOU'D LIKE!

Classes run on Mondays from 4-6pm Eastern from Sept 14 -Oct 19.

Whether or not you're available during the actual class time doesn't matter as you have the convenience to watch (and rewatch!) when it's a good time for you.

This ONLINE class is for folks who have a start on the hammered dulcimer but still consider themselves beginners. We'll be building on skills learned in the Beginners 101 Class (**not a prerequisite for taking this class!) and progressing with mastering the layout of our instruments, building control with our hammers, playing with healthy technique, learning tunes that teach techniques and are fun, learning and understanding chords and their inversions, and more.

You'll receive a weekly summary of each class with a detailed practice guide, plus a download link so you own the videos permanently. Also included are written materials and audio files to support and further progress. You'll have access to me to resolve questions so you can keep moving forward during the week.

No worries about conflicts/missing classes as you will receive video links to download each week so you can reference and re-watch the class easily!

This Intermediate/Intermediate Advanced arrangement showcases this lovely Greek hymn celebrating the New Year with beautiful variations on the melody and in the accompaniment. This tune uses hand separation, so if you're not familiar with those skills/need work, I strongly recommend using the hand separation exercises on my YouTube channel, Tina Bergmann Hammered Dulcimer, to prepare.

This arrangement of the classic Irish waltz "Southwind" is geared toward beginners. It begins by adding simple chords, then progresses to three different section endings, touch notes, and broken chords. Technique guidance is provided, as well as a midi audio recording for reference.

** the midi file has two small delays, both in the same place. You'll notice there is a short pause after the first two notes of the arrangements on both pages two and three.
