The North-East Ohio Dulcimer Weekend is an all-day, weekend festival and concert for all levels of hammered dulcimer players led by Mark Alan Wade & Tina Bergmann. 2026's guest instructors are Karen Alley (Winnepeg, Canada), Mary Lynn Michal from Maryland. NEO (knee-yo) is an ideal setting for all ability levels of hammered dulcimer participants with extended class sessions and an eclectic selection of workshop topics. There will be helpful handouts, vending, instructional aids, jam sessions, concerts, great food, laughs, fun, and more!

SATURDAY CONCERT: We Dulcimers Three (FOUR!) A highlight of this music festival is the Saturday night concert at 8:00pm featuring virtuoso hammered dulcimer performers Karen Alley, Tina Bergmann, Mary Lynn Michal, and Mark Alan Wade. Come hear four of the best dulcimer players on the planet LIVE in concert. The dulcimer performers will showcase everything from classical favorites to traditional American and Irish gems played like you've never heard before! Doors open at 7:45. Admission is $12 at the door (children 17 and under are FREE). See below for parking and directions.

WORKSHOP TOPICS: NEW THIS YEAR: Beginner dulcimer track with Mary Lynn ALL WEEKEND! Our workshop offerings give direction to your development as musicians in fun and easy ways. We offer FOUR tracks to meet you right where you are in your playing: Beginner, Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced. We have strategically chosen repertoire that is both rewarding to learn and that teaches musical concepts appropriate for each level. You’ll have so much fun, you may not even realize you are learning!
